This chest of drawers has been painted in Annie Sloan 'Athenian Black', then distressed and rubbed with black wax and buffed. These layers of wax give a lovely aged finish and greater durability. All drawers open and close smoothly, they have working locks with working keys. In good antique condition. No structural faults, this is a solid well built piece of furniture.
